Our Business Model, Explained

The short version: some applications are ours, and the rest of the work is development, management and advertising on products that belong to clients. This page sets out both, and why the line between them is drawn so carefully.

What are the two activities?

AARVYA CORPORATION earns its income in two distinct ways, and it helps to keep them apart.

The first is publishing: we build business applications and digital products that we own, and we operate and maintain them ourselves.

The second is client work: we provide custom software development, website development, mobile application development, application management, digital advertising management and user acquisition services to businesses that commission them.

When a product is ours, AARVYA CORPORATION is both its owner and the party that provides it to users.

When a product belongs to a client, that client is its owner and the provider its users deal with, and AARVYA CORPORATION carries out only the development, management and advertising work agreed with them.

Why does ownership have to be stated?

Because ownership decides who answers for a product: to the people who use it, and to the platforms it depends on, such as app stores and advertising networks. Writing the rule down once, in plain terms, leaves no room for doubt later about whose product is whose.

Some of the products AARVYA CORPORATION works on are its own and some belong to clients.

For an application or digital product that AARVYA CORPORATION owns, responsibility for it rests with AARVYA CORPORATION.

Carrying out development, management or advertising work on a client's product does not change who owns it: the client keeps ownership unless a written agreement says otherwise.
